Aircraft doesn't load on Prepar3D (P3D)

QUESTION:

I have installed the aircraft in Prepar3d version 2 and after an install is finished, I boot up the sim and the plane is not available as a choice to fly.

ANSWER:

When you install the aircraft you will have to manually change your installation route, and then select the P3Dv2 folder, which is usually the following folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2

Look and see if you don't have another folder besides Lockheed Martin called just Prepar3d v2. Like C:\Prepar3d v2. If you do direct the install to that directory.

I still have not received a response to my question last January 23. As I told you just bought in the Market Sim Products Ordered:

    1 x ROLL - PA32 SARATOGA II TC FSX P3D () = EUR 32.55
    Delivery Method Direct Download
    Sold by Warp
and I can not install it on Prepar3D v3.
I would appreciate me as I can indicate the problem..

    Thanks

When will you create an installer for the PiperSport for Prepar3d V3?

Do you have plans for an installer of the C207 Skywagon for P3Dv3?

The answer that was given above solved my 'problem'.

I was missing this plane in my Prepar3d Simobjects. So I Started to let my Windows search on my pc to the key 'Alabeo'. And it found all installed at the link mentioned above. So I had to read this carefully and would have triggered right away, which I did not, until the search:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3

I had simply copied and paste these folders to my P3D folders. And after starting up P3D, the DA40 was present.

    Good luck to you all

    Regards,

    Ed

    @Anthony DePietto:

I succeeded installing my Piper sport in P3Dv3 by installing it in FSX first. If you don't own FSX, you might try to create a folder with an empty fsx.exe in it. Than I copied the Piper sport to my simobjects-folder in P3D; I also had to copy some gauges ( PS28) from the gauges folder in FSX to the one in P3D.

    It worked for me.

    Hi @ReinBijlsma

I've tried to do exactly the same thing u did to get the PiperSport PS-28 in P3Dv3 but it didn't work, I have my Pipersport in the aircraft selection but when I load the map, the Piper is there, but not fully loaded in the cockpit, I can move my ailerons but I can't move the elevator of the plane.

I thing the problem is because of the gauges, i don't know exactly which gauges files for the PS28 I have to put in P3Dv3 files, because they are many gauges files for the Pipersport. Could u tell me exactly which files did u put in P3Dv3 to get ur Pipersport PS28 fully functional ? Thank you very much btw, have a good guy friend !

I've tried all of the above , creating a default FSX folder on the C drive(I have P3Dv3.3.5 only) . I've ran it as an Administrator , installer green bar moves all the way to the right , it states it is finished and "installed correctly" No Alabeo C195 is loaded anywhere on the hard drive as stated above . A lot of customers need the installer revised to include the P3Dv3 . V3 series has been out for some time and the the C195 is not that old of an aircraft since being offered by Alabeo . This lack of updated installer has gone on much too long .

    Hi again,

Its not needed to make a FSX folder as suggested above. During installation it asks you which FLIGHTSIM you use and install it like I have at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3
When done you are not ready yet! Alabeo does NOT install your plane into P3D!!! You have to manually drag the files that are installed at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3 to your airplanes folders in P3D. When done and after starting up P3D, you go to vehicles and you will find your plane. As easy as this. I will make a video in which I explain it again. However, as stated above, it should work for you too ;-)

Ok this is how it worked for me:

Set the  195 installer to P3DV3.5

After it finishes installing, look in the program folder X 86

You will see folder caled"Carenado Installer"

Open that and you will see all the files for the 195

Just  copy and paste into the correct folders the files in the Carenado folder in P3d and you're all set

Same issue as above except I bought the C172RG. This fixed the install, but what kind of a outfit is Alabeo? Worst  customer support in Flight Sim.
